As a result of a very friendly and helpful meeting with a member of the Society of Friends we are able to say that it is now very likely that we will be able to continue running the Museum as it is at present until summer 2010 and that active consideration is now being given to explore the possibility of the Quakers being able to let us have the use of another part of their property which could suit us very well.
We also would like to draw your attention to the fact that we have been having a very good flow of visitors to the Museum- last Saturday saw over twenty – one all the way from New Zealand visiting “home” for the first time in many years. This means we DO REALLY NEED TO HAVE ALL THE SLOTS FILLED for stewards. Pop in and consult the sheets in the Museum for the sheets on this site are not quite up to date and you will find when there are gaps. It is a pleasant anduseful way of spending from 10am until 12.30pm and you never know who might turn up with an interesting story to tell.
